Note: During the Holy month of Ramadhan the Embassy of Pakistan and its Consulates will observe the following working hours:

REGULAR OFFICE HOURS FOR CONSULAR SERVICES:
Birth Certificate are issued by the Local Government authorities in Pakistan. Such certificates must be duly attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad or its camp offices in Karachi, Lahore, Quetta and Peshawar. The Embassy and its Consulate offices in the US counter authenticate the above documents.
Important note: On required photocopies
Please read the requirements for photocopies for each type of application and bring/send the required number of copies with the application.
For the convenience of the applicants, a copier machine at the Consular Section is available, which takes 25 cents (quarters) coins only. To make copies, please bring enough quarters with you.
Note (iii) Express Mail : If application is submitted through mail, self addressed pre-paid envelope is mandatory for the return of documents. The Embassy recommends the use of Express Mail for all deliveries. Please use the flat rate envelop. Current cost is : $22.95. Do not use Metered stamps. The Embassy does not accept any other form of return envelope. Click here for US Postal Services. Embassy will not be responsible for loss of documents in the mail.
Note (iv) : All fees are payable in US postal money orders or cashier cheques made payable to the Embassy of Pakistan. Please do not send cash or personal cheques. Please make sure to include your name and address on money orders or cashier cheques. All fees are non- refundabl
